What is the GRE?

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination. The graduate record examination (GRE) is a standardized exam used to measure one’s aptitude for abstract thinking in the areas of analytical writing, mathematics, and vocabulary. Quite often, students tend to mistake TOEFL and IELTS. However, these exams are different as opposed to the views of some students. How? IELTS is much shorter and  perhaps more intense test.
